Our Philosophy

The best food isn’t always found in guidebooks. It’s in the family kitchens, market stalls and back alleys where only locals know. We’ve spent years finding those places and the people behind them.

1

Local hosts, local kitchens

Our tours are led by chefs, home cooks and food-obsessed locals — the people who know their city's food better than anyone else.

2

Small tables, real conversations

We keep groups to a maximum of eight guests. That means real seats at the counter, real time with the people cooking, and no rushing through.

3

Beyond the guidebook

You'll eat where locals actually eat — the neighbourhood markets, family kitchens and street stalls the guidebooks never make it to.

“Best decision of the trip. The heat, the smoke, the market vendors who remembered our guide by name.”

Hundreds of portions leave the pot every lunchtime. The rice is lifted and tossed by hand so every grain stays separate.
