What you can expect

Bangkok food tour - Bangkok's street food story begins in Chinatown. Long before the city became famous for roadside woks and plastic stools, Chinese immigrants settled in Bangkok's neighbourhood Yaowarat, bringing with them recipes, cooking techniques and a trading culture that transformed these narrow streets into Bangkok's original open-air dining room. Many credit Chinatown as the birthplace of the city's street food culture, where hawkers first lined the pavements to feed dockworkers, traders and hungry locals. More than a century later, little has changed.

“Do this tour! Absolutely amazing food tour! Incredible value for money - we were constantly being asked if we wanted more of anything at each stop. Truly high-quality stops as well - Michelin-guide recommended and local favourites! They even gave us a little souvenir as a honeymoon gift!”

“Fabulous and filling With only seven guests, we enjoyed all the food and fun facts that our tour guide gave us. There’s no way to know what foods are good because china town is huge! This was a great way to taste it all.”

“Highlight of our Trip! Absolutely incredible experience! Hands down one of the best tours I’ve ever been been one they have this tour down to a perfect science. Sally, our main guide, gave us so much interesting information about the food and wealth of knowledge on Thailand, while also giving 15 different tastings of food seem seamless. Our guides assistant, Kor, was absolutely incredible!! His job was to go ahead of us and reserve the tables beforehand, order the food, and help serve it while also making sure we had water. We never once had to wait for a table or for food, it was a seamless blend of place to place and course to course. I also must add that they were not skimpy on servings! It was the perfect amount for tasting but if you wanted more of something they would get it to you! At the end they even gave us a small token for our honeymoon trip!! Overall 10/10 experience we could not have asked for anything better!”

“The perfect way to get the taste of Bangkok First, it's an amazing way to discover the city. But also the way the trip was curated was superb, with small & large dishes, savory or sweet, building up towards a climax. Everything was super tasty and so wonderful not just for the mouth but also for the eyes. And finally, our guide Noah was great - very knowledgeable (also funny...) taking care of every request and making sure everybody has a wonderful experience. I full heartedly recommend this trip !!!”

“Ao(h)mygod! Left the tour completely stuffed and satisfied. Wow. Oh & Aom were such an amazing duo from start to finish, great at showing us around, keeping us safe through traffic, giving background info on the dishes & restaurants and just making nice small talk in general. There was room to get as much food & water as we wanted at every place we went to, and while many of us started off by bravely ordering seconds, by the end nobody did so anymore. Not because we didn't want to (it was delicious!), but because we just couldn't. If you book this tour, skip your breakfast and don't make dinner reservations, this food is all you can handle for the day!”

“A terrific way to spend an evening in Bangkok. The tour takes you through Bangkok’s Chinatown, to unassuming but delicious spots that’d be pretty tough to find on your own. Our guides’ (Ant and Peem) were very knowledgeable about the food, locations, and history of the area, and attentive to the group’s needs. Definitely take this tour!”

“Good food tour. Worthwhile. Ant and her Friend were excellent I enjoyed the food tour of China Town, the food was interesting even if not to my taste fully (you need to love seafood for the last bit), Ant and her friend ( the man with the money) were brilliant, kept everything in time and explained the locations and food really well. All in all very good.”

“The tour was very interesting. All the food offered by our guide was really delicious. I wouldn't have ordered some of it myself. A great experience. Unfortunately, we could hardly understand our English-speaking guide. But the food was actually self-explanatory.”

“Nice but made for masses. Well organized, but lacking personality and variety. Experienced the same tour about 3-4 years ago and it hadn’t changed a bit. Guide very nice, but her English wasn’t very good and the group missed a lot of her stories because of that.”
