“Lots of food Would highly recommend for anyone who loves food. Kiran gave us an amazing tour and stuffed us with so much food. She was mindful of allergens and always checked if we wanted more. Tour took just over 4 hours but there wasn’t much walking at all.”

“Brilliant - just book it! This was a brilliant start to our holiday - we are so pleased we booked this food tour, it's such a good way to get to know the country's food and learn a little bit about the local customs and habits, plus a few words of the language. Our guide Nadia was brilliant - she was so smiley and friendly, and so caring towards everyone in the group (and we're sorry it's taken us so long to get around to writing a review, we've often reminisced about how much we enjoyed it since our holiday ended!). We got sent detailed information beforehand, we ate so much food - Nadia was so good about explaining that A Chef's Tour now ask people to double up and share dishes initially just to prevent food waste - it's absolutely find to ask for another portion if you like the food and Nadia always checked whether we'd had enough (one couple ordered another portion at one restaurant - it was no hassle at all to get a second dish, but personally I'd recommend against it as WOW we were full by the end!!). It was a brilliant way to start a holiday, we'll always look out for these tours in other cities we visit. Some people say it's expensive - but it's really not considering the enjoyment of the experience, and you'd not find the places yourself, plus you wouldn't have Nadia's lovely company. Terima kasih!!”

“Just book it, it’s incredible! The best food tour we have ever done! Our guide was Kiran and wow, what a guide she was! So incredibly knowledgeable and shared so much history with us. I hugely appreciated Kieran’s approach to hygiene and cleanliness, ensuring all cutlery and plates were super clean before we ate. We tried about 16 dishes in total, and learned about each on the way. Kiran was so incredibly kind, and funny and we had the absolute best time with her! Would highly highly recommend this tour.”

“Great food tour!! Brilliant food tour of KL - Got to try many of the famous dishes and drinks. My highlight was trying durian for the first time and the nasi lemak- wow. No pressure to eat everything or a whole portion so don't worry if you're worried about the number of tastings. The guide Stephen was lovely. High recommend”

“Friendly guide & Amazing Food! Excellent tour by knowledgable guide - Kiran. She was very friendly and taught me so much about Malaysian culture and cuisine. The food was amazing and it was great to be able try many local dishes prepared by hardworking vendors. Would definitely do again and recommend to everyone travelling to Kuala Lumpur. I also appreciated the fact that Kiran took a lot of videos and photos for me, given the fact that I was a solo traveller.”

“Foodies Delight A fantastic way to sample a variety of dishes and cuisines. Kiran was a fabulous host , took time to explain history and the cultural influences. Very easy walk and a good way to get bearings of the city. A LOT of food. I would recommend sharing dishes early in the piece and pace yourself with fluid intake. All the vendors were delightful and happy to engage with us. Highly recommend this tour…. GO with an empty belly and a big appetite.”

“Incredible, delicious, not to be missed Disha and Sean led us through an amazing night filled with delicious food, local history and customs, and showed us the sights, smells and sounds of KL. The food chosen was excellent and diverse, and incredibly generous portions and variety on offer. Our guides were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and helped foster a great environment to try all the amazing foods on offer. Definitely the highlight of our trip to KL so far, and would strongly recommend anyone interested in food and culture!”

“Excellent Tour Nadia was a fantastic guide in every respect. She genuinely seemed to enjoy her time with us and cared about making sure everyone had a great experience. I've gone in many food tasting tours and this was amongst the best. Only two warnings (and they're both positives): come hungry (there's a lot of food to taste) and block out the evening.”
