“Highly recommended tour We received a very warm welcome, and our tour guide, Peng, took excellent care of us. She even provided hand sanitizer and cleaning wipes. We learned a lot about Bangkok's cuisine and enjoyed many delicious samples. We would wholeheartedly recommend this tour.”

“Best food tour in Bangkok. A brilliant mixture of venues, foods that we had never tried before and a great experience on the river boat and tuk tuk rides.”

“The tour was simply perfect, a must for any visit to Bangkok. The tour was simply perfect, a must for any visit to Bangkok. We got to try so many different things that I had never seen before. I'm going back to Bangkok for two days next week and I'm going to book the lunchtime tour again so I can try even more of these incredible dishes. I'll also visit the restaurants I've now discovered again during the rest of my time there. Everything was perfectly prepared and optimally organized. Many thanks to Oh and Cham for this wonderful tour.”

“Great food and good time. This was a brilliant way to see different parts of Bangkok and try some amazing local food We were very full by the end. Loved learning about the various ingredients used in the dishes. The tour group was only 8 people from various countries and everyone was extremely friendly. There was lots of conversation as we ate together. The guides were fabulous. Very entertaining and funny. They looked after us well. Their names were Annie (I think) and Om (not sure of spelling - sorry) I would definitely recommend this trip.”

“We’ve done food tours in most all cities we’ve visited, but the experience with A Chef’s Tour in Bangkok stands at the very top of the list. This wasn’t just a food tour it was cultural immersion. We tasted, what felt like, an endless variety of dishes, each one explained. But what really set this tour apart was everything woven around the food: zipping down the canal via boat, hopping between stops in a tuk tuk and taking the local bus. You really got a feel for daily life in Bangkok. It felt like we were exploring with a local friend, not just following a script. Our guide was knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about sharing her culture. If you're considering a food tour, look no further. Absolutely a 10/10 experience!”

“The street food tour was awesome! We ate a lot of dishes we hadn't tried before and went to market halls we didn't know. The guides were incredibly helpful, and Ms. O had a comprehensive knowledge of Thai cuisine. The vibe was great! We highly recommend this tour!”

“Amazing experience overall. We had many unique foods to try, and were all stuffed at the end. We booked as a group of 5 and it was just us and the guide, along with a runner to get tables for us at the next stop, so we didn't have to wait at all. We were also pleased to find that we were surrounded by Thai locals eating at the restaurants, and the menus didn't have any English on them”

“literally the best thing to do in bangkok!! by the end of the tour, I had loosened my belt twice. but more than the food itself, the tour left me with memories of generosity: the family recipes, the warm smiles, and the feeling of being a (very clumsy) guest at someone else’s kitchen.”

“Tons of food and Bangkok experiences! We really enjoyed our tour with Johnny and Pheem (sorry if I'm not spelling those correctly). I didn't realise when I booked the tour how much the tour would include, besides just the food. We ended up trying over 20 dishes, but we also rode in a taxi boat, a tuktuk, and a bus, as well as making a quick visit to a wat, which were unique Thai experiences that we might not have had the opportunity to have otherwise. I really enjoyed how much variety there was with the foods on the tour. The only thing I wish was that we were given a list of the foods we tried, both with English and Thai names, during or after the tour. Maybe the operator could send an email to participants after the tour with a list of what we tried in Thai and English, or give us a paper list during the tour. This would make it easier for us to look for those foods again or try cooking them at home. In all, I would definitely recommend the tour!”

“Authentic Bangkok, ‘Wat’ are you missing? This tour was the highlight of my time in Bangkok. Our guides, Oh and Om, took us to places we would never have dared going on our own to taste food we would never have dared to try. I was blown away, such a beautiful culture played out in its beautiful cuisine. There’s nothing like this in London, where Iive. A lifetime highlight, when am I emigrating??”

“Good food but beware of the transport options at the end of the tour O and Gor were very welcoming and took great care of us. Lots of great food. And I do mean a lot. Really probably too much to handle in all honesty. I was expecting small bites but that wasn’t it at all. You definitely got your moneys worth. But it was a lot of food. It was amazing and so fresh and local. I loved that part. Just go in prepared to eat a lot and it should be fine. One more thing. Although the meeting point is on the BTS line so it’s easy to get to, when your tour is done you are in the middle of a market with no way to get back without a grab or a 35+ minute walk in the heat of the day. We got a grab but ended up in a horrible traffic jam. We didn’t move for over 30 minutes so we ended up ditching the grab and walking 30 minutes to the BTS. Not an enjoyable ending”
