“I absolutely loved my... I absolutely loved my food tour of Mumbai with Pooja! She shared culture and insights along the way, and introduced us to so many delicious foods I never would have found on my own! Beyond the food, she made the experience unforgettable by giving us the experience of riding the local train, which added a whole new dimension to understanding the city and it's crowds! Pooja was open, warm, and fun. Her recommendations were great and she created a comfortable environment where we could ask questions, try new things, and enjoy every moment!”

“Delicious and fun Had a great tour with Sunil. He knew exactly where to go to get a wide variety of tastes. We hit both street vendors as well as restaurants/cafes.”

“Chef’s Tour Mumbai Nov 25 The street food tour was a real highlight. Sunil was very careful about his choice of restaurants and stalls - we only visited places where they used bottled water to cook. It was a food tour through the different cultures and people of Mumbai, including Iranian and Gujarati. We loved the pani puri stall run by generations of a family since 1941. Sunil took us to places we would never have visited - and they were all an experience. Sunil was informative, easygoing and thoughtful. We couldn’t recommend it highly enough.”

“"Pooja was a great host for the tour. She really looked after everyone and was very caring. We tried around 15 different foods in total. The meeting point was easy to find, and the train ride was nice. At one stop, we sampled four different dishes, though two of them were quite similar. Overall, the tour is probably better suited for someone who has just arrived in India, as we had already tried many of the foods before. We didn't have any stomach problems. Later, we found out that there are similar tours available for around 1,850 rupees. So, while it was a nice experience, we feel the price is too high for what you get."”

“Yummy Mumbai Pooja was a great guide and gave us a wonderful introduction into Mumbai food. You see so many different places from cute stores to old-fashioned restaurants and street food stalls - but all is delicious offering the best of the best. Pooja was lovely and navigated Mumbai like a true pro, making us all feel safe and sound - even in the Diwali crowds. The food we ate was delicious - my one complaint is that it was almost too much :) At some point my stomach went on strike. Definitely noted down some places to come back in my own time and when hungry again!”

“"Highly recommend! Host was very personable and knowledgeable. It’s good value for money given the time it takes and how many spots you visit. It’s hard to know which street food spots are ‘the best’ on your own - these guys have the intel!"”

“Great selection of food and very informative about the type of food and their origins. The size of the group (8) was perfect and the selection of the 15 types of dishes from all over India were superb. We walked through so many different neighbourhoods taking in the amazing sights and sounds of Mumbai. The food aspect of the tour was terrific and I loved it. My only issue was being left to get home alone as a 61 year old in a very unfamiliar, crowded part of town. It was a good 20 minute walk to the main road and I had to wait 35 mins for an uber and it was somewhat challenging. Other than that I give this tour a 5/5.”

“Extraordinary Food Tour It was phenomenal food conducted by Vrushali! She is passionated and a great story teller! Enjoyed every tadtymorsel ! Each food item was explained in detailed with different regional variations! Its a food historical class and culinary class all intertwined into one. Sidenote: The streets are confusing to nagivate and just a directional map doesn't sometimes cut it. A simple instruction such as turn left would help in the future. It was well known that there was a festival going on. Directing your customers in the thick of the mayhem to obtain uber, where it was next to imposible is not advisable. Therefore consideration should be excercise in situations like this to facilitate a smooth connection in the future.”

“The tour was extremely well-curated and I loved how we were taken to places that were a mix of street food and actual restaurants, some very historic at that. The pace was just right and the variety offered was superb. Just a suggestion to maybe add more meat dishes for future tours? :)”

“Amazing tour of Mumbai and other regional specialities. Thank you Sunil! Delicious tour through local markets and stalls we would never have discovered ourselves - including Mumbai and Parsi classics, but also regional specialities from Gujarat and Sindh. Sunil was a very friendly and engaging guide with excellent English, who showed us some additional parts of the markets which would make for a great tour itself or in combination with food stops. He also had a genuine interest in our cultures. Anyone is lucky to meet Sunil”
