“We took the Chef’s Tour Chiang Mai lunchtime tour today, and it was excellent. We ended up on a private tour, as no other bookings, so received personal attention throughout from Moui! The food was excellent, and so much of it that we have enough for dinner tonight as well (it was all packed up by Moui for us to bring home). Great experience and would absolutely recommend this.”

“"It was an incredible experience, tons of delicious food. It advertises about 15 dishes but honestly you eat and try more things than that. The host was very kind and shared a lot of knowledge on Thai history on the drives between the places."”

“"One of our favorite things about our trip to Chiang Mai. A lot of the times when traveling to "known" cuisines, it's hard to get out of the mindset of ordering what we knew. This definitely put us outside of our comfort zone but really encouraged us in trying different foods we would have never even thought to order. It included some of the best bites that we had in Thailand and we definitely left full. We also continually were learning more about the culture & the foods which made for a pleasant experience outside of just eating."”

“"This is a trip to experience the food and culture of northern Thailand. Moui will give you a local perspective on food, which is hard to find on social media. Not only is the food very northern Thai, but Moui will also bring the raw materials of various foods to tell you what spices are added behind each rich flavor, as well as some interesting cultural fusion historical background."”

“Guide Unknown Excellent food tour The food was amazing and definitely different from food on tour in Bangkok. Selection of food is excellent as it includes dishes original for Lanna kingdom, dishes created here by Chinese migrants, some Myanmar and some Central Thailand dishes. Visiting local market is great experience by itself too. Transportation between places via songtheaw truck is convenient and adds to authenticity. The only disadvantage was that i was alone on tour, so i definitely ate too much... and also got food for my dinner. So bring a friend for tour! :)”

“Culinary delights in Chiang Mai - a must do experience! Great experience in Chiang Mei. Our guide, Mouri, was terrific. Her knowledge of how the dishes are made, the history behind the food, and the stories of the restaurateurs is extensive and adds to the fun of tasting all these delicacies. Would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to learn more about northern Thai food and its history. This is a great opportunity to try multiple dishes and decide on your favorites!”
